Terms of Service

Acceptance

By accessing or using ZygenTrust, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using ZygenTrust on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

The service

ZygenTrust is a domain and website trust intelligence API for business onboarding workflows. The service returns deterministic trust signals, explainable scoring, and recommended actions based on public web data associated with the domain you submit.

ZygenTrust is not a KYB, KYC, AML, sanctions screening, identity verification, or legal compliance product. You are solely responsible for determining whether ZygenTrust output is appropriate for your use case.

Accounts and keys

• You must provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for keeping your API keys confidential.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
• API keys may be revoked at any time for violation of these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to violate laws or third-party rights
• Bypass quota or rate limits via multiple accounts
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract scoring weights
• Resell raw analyze responses without material added value
• Use the service to harass, defame, or surveil individuals
• Submit malicious, infringing, or misleading data via our endpoints

Fees and quotas

Free-tier usage is offered at no cost subject to monthly quota. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Cached responses count against quota; test keys do not. Quota is enforced at the edge; over-quota requests return QUOTA_EXCEEDED with a 429 status.

Refunds are available within 14 days of payment for unused service. Contact billing@zygentrust.com.

Intellectual property

ZygenTrust retains all rights to the service, the scoring engine, the API contract, and the brand assets. You retain rights to data you submit and to applications you build using ZygenTrust output.

You grant us a limited license to process submitted domains for the purpose of operating the service and improving aggregate quality. We do not use your submissions to train AI models.

Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. ZygenTrust does not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the analyze output will accurately reflect any business or website's actual trustworthiness.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZygenTrust's aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms with or without notice. Upon termination, your access to the service ends and your data is deleted within 30 days unless legally required to retain it.

Changes

We may modify these terms with at least 30 days' notice via email or the changelog. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Material price changes apply only to subsequent billing periods.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ZygenTrust is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
